If I was going to Aintree races this weekend, this is what I would be wearing.

An amazing printed dress in a shape that flatters my figure in one of my favourite colours. I personally would throw a cropped jacket over the top to complete the outfit whilst covering the tops of my arms and, as Aintree is at the beginning of spring, keep as warm as possible.

I love these shoes so much. I love all the straps and the zip detail down the back. I much prefer a chunky heel over a thin one and these are somewhere in the middle. I think you may need to be in a stand for these shoes so you have somewhere to sit down to rest your feet after a while.

A big clutch bag is useful for your money, tickets, makeup, phone, tissues etc. You do not need to match your shoes to your bag. There is white in the print of the dress so that ties the colours all together.

I love a big bangle and this one would suit the dress well. I do like necklaces but this dress has a lot going on already.

Hopefully those of you who are going to the races this weekend will need a pair of sunglasses. These a classic, vintage style.

All above products are from Karen Millen.

I think a wedding or the races is a fun excuse to wear a hat or fascinator and if I was going I would go for a modern style like the above one. If you buy a neutral colour like black, nude, navy, grey or cream you can use again with other outfits. This is a modern take on a fascinator I think. It is available from John Lewis.

Good luck to all going this weekend, I hope you win big and have a great time. I can't wait to see the photos of all the outfits!
